Digital Literacy
Eric Pelletier

The vision proposed in relation to digital literacy would move away from traditional methods to make training in computer science and related fields more "mobile" for the direction of the SCAA, the CALNet, and CET. It would make the computer training and related fields more "mobile" for the SCAA Branch, Community Adult Learning and Workplace Essential Skills.

This plan seeks to support this vision and promote digital skills which New Brunswickers need to have access to digital technology, and use and understand, to participate fully in an increasingly increasingly digital.

Three principles underpin the action plan: 1) adult learners have free access to basic training in digital literacy to improve their skills, 2) a model of mobile services will achieve a greater number of learners, 3) partnerships facilitate the links between digital literacy and other literacies that are necessary in today's society (eg. workplace essential skills, basic financial literacy, access to Information).
